The house sits proud on the site yet clearly responds to copses of native bush, open paddocks, and the omnipresent mountain range. Rhythm and scale play out in the plan and elevation contrasting positively against the starkness of the materiality. Roof lines and connections to the site, both visual and physical, reinforce the farm style origins of the house.
